The classic French holiday cake, bûche de Noël, is inspired by the Yule logs that were traditionally burned on Christmas Eve.  This European chocolate sponge cake is prepared using the

finest ingredients, filled with soft chocolate truffle and

artfully covered with chocolate glaze icing to resemble bark.  The whole ensemble is embellished with marzipan holly berries and leaves, along with a light dusting of sugared snow.
